Founding
2012 - Our story begins
Alight Consulting GmbH was founded in September 2012 by Dr. Ralf Kuhn and Dr. Habib Lejmi. With just a handful of employees at the time, the success story spanning over 10 years began.
Location Tunis
2013 - First expansion abroad
After a successful fiscal year, the first additional location was established in Tunisia. For Alight, the region is characterized by highly skilled professionals. The nearshore team on-site continues to support many projects to this day.
Second German location
2016 - Central location in Germany
Since its inception, Alight's goal has been to minimize the travel time of its own team. For this reason, the choice for the second location fell on the centrally located city of Nuremberg. Today, the team on-site consists of more than 20 colleagues.
10 years Alight with 100 employees
2022 - Alight celebrates its anniversary
Just in time for our 10th anniversary, we welcomed the 100th employee to Alight. With 6 locations at the time and a multitude of successfully completed projects, Alight embarked on its future.
New office in Qatar
2023 - The journey continues towards Asia
Due to the growing staff, the need for additional branches also increased over the years. With an eye on the Asian market, Doha in Qatar was considered as a potential location. After months of planning, a new branch was opened there in September 2023 - just in time for the 11th anniversary.
Our management
Dr. Ralf Kuhn
Dr. Ralf Kuhn has been involved in the design, architecture, development, and project management of applications based on Microsoft technologies, particularly Microsoft SharePoint, since 2003. The professional focus of the Ph.D. physicist lies in the areas of intranets, document management, and the integration of external systems such as SAP. As Managing Director at Alight, he is responsible for the locations in Munich, Leipzig, and Cluj.
Dr. Habib Lejmi
Dr. Habib Lejmi is a Ph.D. in Business Informatics and has been working in the IT consulting field since 2000. His areas of expertise include process and application consulting (ERP, CRM, ECM), as well as program and project management. As Managing Director at Alight, he is responsible for the consulting area and business development, and he leads the locations in Tunis, Paris and Doha.

Our 7 locations are spread across Europe, Africa, and Asia.
The Alight Consulting GmbH headquarter is in Munich. In Germany, we also have two other locations in Nuremberg and Leipzig. Internationally, we have offices in Paris, Tunis, Cluj, and Doha.
